I saw the many posts in the the subject "Slow Set Top Box Responses New Fios Quantum Box". I too am having many lag issues with the Quantum boxes. I was wondering if anyone has hooked up all their Quantum boxes using ethernet? I see they have the capability.
The reason for ethernet is I really have no way to test the MOCA. At least with Ethernet I can hook up my PC and use a packet sniffer to check what is going on and test the response. Because if it is the hardware giving the slow responses, then Verizon has choosen poorly and it will be really difficult to solve the slow respone/Lag issues.
Thanks,
Bruce
You can do it for IPCs.
VMS must be hooked up via coax.
Have you gotten the APR2 update yet?
If not, try waiting for that to see if it helps.
Where Can I look to check the version? I do have the new menus now.
Thanks,
Bruce
