Sony Internet TV and Fios integration

What are my options to integrate the Sony Internet TV Blueray player and the Fios Motorola STB.  Can we use the firewire for changing channels (which used to work with Microsoft Media Center), or do i have to use the RF repeater?

Pretty much no integration.  Each used independently.  Hopefully you have enough connection on your TV.
