Southern California NBC Voice Sync/lag Issue.

Tried searching but didn't find any threads specific to NBC in SoCal.

I just got FiOS 2 weeks ago.

Channel 504 (HD Local channel for NBC in Los Angeles, CA).

This happens on every show and every time.

When you first go to the channel, it's fine for about 5-10 minutes then it just goes downhill, voice sync goes off and I'd have to switch channels, and switch back.

Watching NBC Over-The-Air antenna in HD is just fine.

Anyone else have this issue in Southern California?

If it was a broadcast issue, switching channels would not fix it. This sounds like a STB issue instead.

I would try rebooting you stb. Easiest way is to go to  MENU--->Settings---->System info.  When on this screen, use the remote and enter 2601 (there is no box to put it in, this is a "secret" code) After you type it in, the screen should say "code entered successfully". Then the STB should reboot. See if this helps.

If not, next try reseating the coax on the input on the back of the STB. Sounds bogus, but you'd be supprised how often this works.

If still having an issue, the next step would be to contact tech support and have them reset the STB.
