Why do I have to pay for Spanish speaking channels and movies when I do not have any idea what they are saying because I do not speak the Spanish language.

The same as payinf for  ESPN and other sporst channels when yo dont watch sports.

There are a lot of channels that verizon will be adding soon to their guide starting in august where the overwhelming majority of them are going to be in spanish. Verizon will be launching MundoFox (a rupert murdoch owned channel in spanish), Univision telenovelas (a soap opera channel), Foro Tv (a univision owned news channel) and Cine Sony Television a new movie network that will be entirely in spanish which will consist of the movies that are all from sony pictures that is taken directly from their vault where all of the movies will be in spanish. Cine Sony TV will also have tv shows on there too. There are a ton of spanish channels that verizon will be adding in the next few months where they must now be aware of the fact that what a provider has to offer in spanish is a big factor as to which provider a lot of people will choose to sign up with. There are a bunch of channels on the guide that i never watch like the religious channels, infomerical channels, kids channels and soap opera channels so it does not bother me at all since there is something for everyone to watch or people would not continue to have fios tv.

The sad thing about the above post is that the Sony Movie Channel is also (and primarily) an American (or English) HD channel.  Think Verizon will supply that also?  If you do, then you don't know Verizon!

I was just about to ask that same question about the sony movie channel ,will verizon carry the englsih  HD version?,also will they carry the nba league pass in HD this year? if not i may go back to dirctv before the new nba season starts.
