I just received and setup the VerizonTV soundbar this past weekend. And using it on a VIZIO 60" Class D-Series 4K.

For whatever reason, it goes back to the home screen randomly with no action on my part and no matter what Im watching... which basically makes it unusable.
I've only installed and signed in on google and Netflix.
Ive powered it on and off and soft reset a few times.
Ive also taken out the batteries thinking maybe it’s the remote.. But it still does the same thing.

First thing I'd check are the HDMI cables. Then check the power cables. If that doesn't help, unplug both power and HDMI cables for at least 3 minutes and then plug back in. If still no joy, it MAY be defective.

I was having the same problem and was getting frustrated because I’ve just got the device. But changing the HDMI port in the TV solved the problem, at least for now
