THE ONLY LOUD COMMERCIALS NOW ARE FROM VERIZON. IT IS ILLEGAL. PLEASE STOP. IT MUST BE HORRIBLE FOR A VERIZON MODERATOR TO READ THIS BUT IT IS THE SAME AS ME WATCHING YOUR COMMERCIALS!

This is a community forum not Verizon Support.   also all caps very hard to read and considered rude on a forum.  For the orginal question just file a complaint with the FCC.  See http://usgovinfo.about.com/b/2012/12/16/how-to-file-loud-tv-commercial-complaints.htm

Concerning this issue , I just gave up and when I was getting a new TV anyway I got one with loudness levelization.  Problem soved.

Exactly. Loud commercials hard to listen to and considered rude on a TV, already submitted complaiint. Seems that only cable broadcaster can broadcast loud commercials... that's wrong...
