Today I set the DVR to tape Curb Your Enthusiasm on the TV Guide Network (my channel 45) and when I checked the recording, it was the last hour of "Dirty Dancing" which was the movie before which was supposed to end at 10 pm. This is really ironic since the scroll on the bottom of the screen was reporting the entire hour that "Curb Your Enthusiasm" was supposed to be on. I set the DVR to catch the 11 pm reshowing, and instead of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" they are running an infomercial. Last Thursday I tried to watch the 11 pm showing and 5 minutes into the show, they shifted to an infomercial then too.
This is either incompetence or stupidity especially considering every commercial break on TVGN they promote CYE. Another option is the local cable provider has decided to not show CYE and are overrunning the network feed. In any case, I want to know where to make a complaint.
TV Guide Network as you know it (with the scrolling program guide) is going away this week. It will no longer be on Ch. 45 or 48 or on any Local TV channel.
It is now on Ch. 194 and will no longer have that scrolling program guide.
