I have called about this twice and both times I was told that it is not the box. Well, we checked the HDMI cable as suggested but it only connects the TV to our ROKU device. And when this happens - the light on the TV remains on to show that the power is there but the picture goes out. The TV is not that old so I don't think I need to buy a new TV. The box in the bedroom is fine - so far. What is going on? Oh, and we checked the battery back up in the garage and no problem there either.
How does box connect to TV?
Have you tried swapping boxes to see if problem follows?
Look for timers on the TV and Set top box....make sure they are clear.
