Using my own router, and G1100 in bridge mode essentially as a moca brdige. Worked well for over a month (at least) - this morning, the STB suddenly says no network connection.
Went through the reboot of all components, and NOTHING changed from when i turned things off last night.
Any thoughts on what could have caused it? I'm on 'hold' for support - both on the phone and the chat, but not sure i'll ever get someone live.
Setup is as follows:
(ethernet) ONT -> Netgear Router -> Switch -> G1100
(Coax): ONT ->splitter(basement) -> splitter -> both STB and G1100
Just got to chat with support - apparently its an outage in my area and VZ is working on it.
Expected resolution - 2 PM EST (2.5 hours from now).
Don't want to mark it solved until it really is..
Turns out it was my moca bridge acting up - replaced it and everything's back up.
The "trouble ticket" was marked resolved a day later - not sure what exactly was fixed 🙂
