Our TV (an LG) reboots when changing from an SD channel to an HD channel and vice versa. Maybe in response to a signal on the HDMI output? Anyone else seen this? Fios STB is a QIP 7216.
Hello Tamagee - sorry to hear about this glitch, but I am a bit unclear as to what you mean when you say "the TV reboots". Do you mean that the TV power is cycled on/off? Or do you mean that the picture breaks up with a lot of screen noise when you switch HD to SD? Just shooting in the dark, I would check to confirm SD Override on the DVR is set to "off" to see if that helps. I would then try replacing the HDMI cable with components to see the effect. Another thing - try reprogramming the remote (or a different remote) to see if somehow it has tied the "TV Off" signal erroneously to another key. Let us hear back from you soon. Thank you.
