I don't understand why Verizon can not give TFC East Coast customer the East Coast feed. One of the TFC program, TV Patrol, that we use to watch at 5:30pm when we were Optimum customer is at 9:45pm now that we are with Verizon. 9:45 pm is very late for us.
Another program that we like to watch in TFC is Voice Kids, now that we are with Verizon, it is being broadcast at 2 in the morning while we are sleeping, NOT COOL.
My assumption wuld be that they felt that more custoemrs would prefer the west cast feed vs the east coast.
Carrying both has a cost that would have to be passed on to those that watch it.
How come Cablevision was not charging an extra fee for East coast feed.
Each provider makes their own deals with the content providers.
And choose how many channels to dedicate to each type of content.
And decide how much to charge for that content.
