Time on DVR is off

The time on our DVR is about 3 minutes slow

so i do not get the beginning of recorded shows...

what can be done to fix that problem.

The clock syncs with Verizon servers. To reset the clock on the box please press menu, then go to CUSTOMER SUPPORT, then IN HOME AGENT, then SET TOP BOX AUTO CORRECTION. Please let us know if further assistance is required.

Unusual for them to be off by 3 mintues.  Follow Anthony suggestion to make sure it picks up the correct time.

Are you sure its not the broadcaster?  Several programs, on purpose, start 3 or more minutes early or late.  Some times the guide knows this and sometimes it doesn't
