I am running Windows Vista. When I try to install Media Manager on my PC, it starts running and then stops with an error message
The files for installation requirement windowsmediaformatruntime could not be found. The installation will now stop. This is probably due to a failed, or canceled download.
As far as I can tell, the download was successful. I restarted my computer, and tried the download using both IE8 and Firefox, but get the same results every time.
Any ideas?

Try this link. About half way down is the download for the msi clean up utility.

I cannot install on my laptop running XP SP3. I get a Windows Installer msg box stating:
"This installation package could not be opened. Verify that
the package exists and that you can access it, or contact
the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows
Installer package."
I tried the Windows Install Clean Up utility, and cleaned up all existing installation info. I still get the same msg box.

Hi,
I tried Windows Installer Clean Up and it doesn't display Media Manager in the list. Is there any other fix for this? This is really frustrating. I'm running Vista Business 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1.
