Universal Remote Code for the QIP7232-2 STB/DVR for Bose SoundTouch 120 Remote Control

I have a Bose SoundTouch 120 Home Theater system. The universal remote device code listed in the brochure that came with the system is 1576. When I program the Bose remote with this code it will control most of the functions for the Motorola QIP7232-2 model STB/DVR except for the DVR functions. The DVR button on the Bose remote is completely nonfunctional. Does anyone have the proper universal remote device code for my my QIP7232-2 system that will allow the Bose remote to control the DVR functions on my STB/DVR?

What model box did this code say it worked on?

Its possible that remote won't have full functionality for this stb.

That's always an issue for "universal" remotes.

In case someone else is looking for the answer to this, the code is 02378.

Programming Remote (start with cable box on):

1. Press Setup button on BOSE remote until all source options turn green
2. Press CBL/SAT button then enter code: 02378 (should blink twice)
3. Point remote to box then press ON/OFF under CBL/SAT button (should turn off)

Then all your normal cable remote options should work properly with Guide, Menu, etc
