Has somebody tried to activate and use a standard Motorola M-Card (CableCard) with Verizon/FIOS? It would be nice if there were real experiences to share rather than speculation.

I'd call the billing department and see if you can use and activate it.
The Tech that came to install my service did my cablecards. I have 3 Tivos. He said it had been a while since he had set up any M cards, but wanted to give it a go. He was on the phone for quite a while, reading lots of numbers, but all was good when he was done. All 3 Tivos working great, and talking to each other via MOCA. Very happy, nice job Verizon. Way better than my Comcast experience.
