VMS1100 automatically switches from a recording to live TV when a new recording starts

I'm seeing a really irritating issue with my VMS1100 that's only presented itself over the past couple weeks.

Whenever I'm watching a recorded program - whether it's paused or actively playing - the box will automatically dump me to live TV when a new recording begins. This occurs regardless of how many other tuners are actively recording at the time.

Anyone else seeing anything like this? Possible bug?

not seeing myself, but have you tried the menu/customer support/top support tools/Fix Fios TV issues.  If not it may help.

I agree with TNS.

I am not seing this problem.

Justt his am was watching something I had recorded and a new show started to record.

No issues noted.
