VOD error VOD_270

I was trying to rent a movie tonight and I get the error "Purchase request failed. Please try again later (VOD_270)".

Has anyone else seen this error/found a resolution? Rebooted STB already without success. Been on hold for 30+ minutes already.

Online support "live" agent was useless and unable to help.

Verizon really needs to step up their customer service. I get 2-3 phone calls a week from Verizon to upsell me stuff that I don't need/want. But when it comes to helping their customers you can't get to talk to a live person.

That's pretty sad.

I get the same error. Second time in the past 2 weeks I've gotten this error. Supposedly they are having VOD issues.

I can't believe I was forced to call in and wait on the phone - no chat??!? Really?

No high availability for your services? What exactly does my money go to?
