Verizon FIOS TV DVR Issue with Multi Room DVR

I recently installed Verizon FIOS TV service and I have the multi room DVR option with 2 set top boxes and 2 TVs.

I currently can not record a show on one tv and watch a different live channel on that same TV simaltaneously.  Is there a different dvr package/service available that will allow me to record multiple shows and watch a different live tv channel at the same time on the same TV?  I am only planning to have 2 TVs and 2 set top boxes in my apartment.  Thanks

What model stb do you have?

If it is VMS, they you are limited to two shows at a time.

if IPC is one with one channel (even if you aren't watching it) then VMS only has 1 tuner left.

you can set IPC to auto disconnect.

or order enhanced service that gives 6 tuners. So can record multiple shows while watching two more.
