Verizon is in talks to buy netflix who has failed miserably in the past few months to actually provide their customers with what it is that their customers want while increasing their prices over 60%. It is a very interesting move and given all of the anger that is directed at verizon for failing to help their customers with even the smallest problems a merger might be a bad move in more ways than one. Netflix has lost over 75% of its stock value in the past few months and many people believe that anyone who buys them could go down too. Just think of all of those bad mortgages that were sold and traded that lead to what became of the economy to see that verizon could pay a price in more ways than one. In another interesting story verizon's ceo said that in two years they will stop expanding their fios service and whatever it is that they have planned right now for the next two years will be the last of their expansion. In the meantime though for whatever reason verizon refuses to help their customers or give them what it is that they are paying for while also raising their prices which is exactly what a lot of netlfix customers have also complained about. If you are familiar with the fios guide and how inaccurate the channel guide is then you know what i am talking about. It has from what i have been able to find out been wrong for almost a decade by all accounts where i can say for a fact that it has been wrong for five years with no improvements or efforts to correct the issues that exist.
Both are being reported. I wonder if they will drop the Red Box deal if they go ahead and buy Netflix.
netflicks is not good redbox is better!!!
