The other week randomly my P265 v4 remote stopped controlling our RV column. Thought it was batteries,
replaced them, nothing.
Verizon sent us a new remote and I have tired over a dozen times to program it. I have tried the search method, the code method, clearing it, trying again. I can’t think of another way. I’ve talked to Verizon and still no solution.
Everything was working and then suddenly stopped. This is so frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.

424 is the code that I have used, more than a dozen times. Thank you for your responses. 🙂

Was there a recent Vizio firmware update? Do you remember the code you used on your old remote?
I do not know if there was a firmware update nor do I know the code for the v3.
What would have had the firmware update?

The TV might have had an update. Does the TV remote still work correctly? Try taking the batteries out of the Fios remote for 30 minutes, put them back in and try reprogramming it. The code is supposed to be 424 for Vizio.
Thank you for the suggestion. I'm not sure how to find out if the tv had an update but I will contact Vizio.
