I'm on the Freehold system. Something happened last weekend (Feb 5th). When using the built in Digital TV Tuner (not Cablecard or STB)) a bunch of stations disappeared and changed. The two I care about are channels 2.1 (WCBS) and 11.1 (WPIX)
Channel 2.1 changed from an HD station to an SD station.
Channel 11.1 is no longer broadcasting it's call sign (WPIX-HD) and is not being picked up by my TV's digial tuner.
I have called and opened a support ticket but know one I talked too understands the issue. It's been working fine for years.
Any help would be appreciated to get this resolved.
I read the channels changed.
Have you tried a scan again?
Yes, I have been scanning every day to see if the problem is fixed, but it hasn't been.
I'm not sure of Freehold, but closer to NY they move to 72.x .
ok, that's fine that it moved, but just like PIX-HD, they are not broadcasting the call signs for WCBS-HD.
Perhaps because they are not. I know in some areas of NJ another station claims the right to be 2.1, forcing WCBS to another number. Not being in that area I can't check for sure.
WCBS is still broadcasting 2.1, but now in SD.
Here are most of the stations and it shows the all the ones that are no longer receiveing the call letters (Theycome up as unknown). Those are the ones my TV Tuner does not see them. (The device I have that shows this us unable to correctly map after 74.XX, so it shows up an 5XXX.) 5001 on my device is CBS-HD, but doesn't label itself as so. 11.1 is still PIX-HD, but not labeled either.

I just got a HDHomeRunner Prime (no cable card) and scanned my QAM channels and I have the same issue. 2-1 is CBS SD and there is no channel 11.1. 64.9 is PIX SD.
5001 is in spanish though, so not channel 2. Although it is in HD, so I guess it's got that going for it.
So PIX and CBS are only available in SD for me. Any idea if they are hidding in the whole bunch of 5XXX channels?
FYI, I found them.
5019 is PIX 11 HD
5020 is CBS 2 HD
No clue why they don't put them in the right place nor do they label them but wanted to update this just in case someone else was struggling like I was.
