I have contacted verizon support and they will not answer my question 😞
I know that, technically, PPV events can be recorded to DVR. However the ability to do so is controlled by a per-event basis. I assume it has to do with the contract between the content producer and Verizon.
Verizon support told me, due to copyright issues, they cannot tell me if any particular PPV show is recordable. The only way to find out is to actually purchase the event and attempt to record it.
The event I wish to DVR is tonight's WWE Night of Champions (9/16/2012).
I didn't even bother asking them my follow-up question, which is whether the recording is viewable beyond 24 hours (which is another PPV feature for some programs)
I checked WWE's website and it only directed me back to Verizon for any questions of this type.
Can anyone give me any insight into whether WWE Night of Champs can be recorded?
