Channel 49 is showing TWC feed - is the regular feed down for SE PA?
Solved! Go to Correct Answer
TWC responded:
The core network programming, you are currently seeing, is the default feed that temporarily airs when there is an issue with the equipment that generates the WeatherScan experience.
We will be sending a replacement computer unit out to Verizon Fios. The best case scenario has the Weatherscan feed restored by the end of the week.

This would be a weather channel issue, not Verizon.

SO WHY DID YOUR VERIZON TECH SUPPORT AND COSTOMER SERVICE NOT HAVE THIS INFORMATION?
I wasted my time on the phone with clueless people trying to get an answer before I found your message board.
You should be able to do a better job with communication of solutions
Agree that there should be a better way to communicate a service interruption that is being addressed. Have had to search a while to find that PA Local Weather is coming back.
There was originally an alert shown on the web when I signed in, but that seems to have gone away. Just need a clear posting of status and estimated restoration posted on affected users account pages.
And, hopefully, PA Local Weather will come back !!! TWC mother ship is a poor choice for finding local conditions and forecasts. A shame how programming on that channel has dis-improved over the years.
