What is the deal with bundles ?

Just had FIOS internet and TV installed.  Got the Prime HD/15/5 bundle on a 2 year contract.

Would like to upgrade to Extreme HD, but wow, hey,  you can not add those

channels unless you increase your internet speed to 25/25.  But I don't need

faster internet. Im not using all of the 15/5 I have now.......

That's like saying, I want new tires on my car, but can not get them unless I re-paint it.

What ?

Why do they do this?  Is this just for the duration of the 2 year agreement and then I can just add Extreme HD ?

Its one of those things that you pay for more channels and they "give" you a faster internet. Makes you think you are getting more than you are. That Extreme package just comes with the faster speed. Enjoy it.
