When I turn off my TV with stb remote, it turns off, but a faded blue screen appears. I have to use the TV remote to turn it off. When turning it back on, I have to use TV remote again to turn it on. How can I fix this?
Sounds like you are not turning it off. Are you trying to turn it off with the TV power button or the STB button. You may have to play with the remotes settings. see https://www.verizon.com/support/residential/tv/equipment/remote-control or the doc they left you.
I will have to assume you do not see a faded blue screen when you use the TV's own remote. If you do then its the TV not the remote.
