Apparently when you limit a series record to 5 episodes.
Can anyone help / explain this: I have a series set up to record up to 5 episodes, I have 6 recorded. Last week it recorded 12 before I could get around to watching them.
Did it put all 6 episodes in some folder?
If not, it must think they are different shows.
I have a number of series that delete previous episodes at the right number.
Maybe try changing the count, saving and then changing back.

You might also try setting up your recording series by specifying a specific channel from which they will be "taped"
