Why are most of the children's channels in SD? Kids enjoy watching their shows in full HD too.
Sprout, Disney Jr., etc.
Most of their programming is in HD by now, so on Verizon FiOS unless I zoom in with my TV remote, my 60-inch TV looks like it has an extra one foot bezel around it because of the DOUBLE letterboxing.
Not trying to be snarky but do children (especially very young children) really care if a channel is in SD or HD? I have a 60" plasma as well and my kids could care less, they just want to see their shows/dvds.
Yes. My children definitely care. They choose Disney plus and Netflix over Fios Disney Jr. SD every time. They say things like “it’s too blurry” and “it hurts my head/eyes”. I get it. It’s a strain on my
eyes as well. Kids are no different.
