I tried to install Chromecast and found out my Wi-Fi was turned off. How do I turn it back on?

For most Verizon Routers, logon to http://192.168.1.1 .  Userid if you didn't change it "admin"  and password either printed on the router (near where it says admin) or the serial number of the router.  CASE SENSITIVE.  Click wireless settings, click basic security settings, click on button next to wireless.  Then scroll down to apply and click that.  You may want to make sure that your router is set to WPA2   (turn off WEP and in advanced security settings click wpa2 and enter a passphrase of your CHOOSING rather than the default one).
