I'm signed into my YouTube account on the TV's YouTube widget, yet my subscriptions list looks nothing on the TV like what it does on the computer. Is there some way to sync it so that it more accurately reflects my subscriptions/library/history as it appears on the YouTube site on the computer?

No.
Your "data" is being kept in 2 different places.
one in your computer and the other on your STB DVD or your TV.

Thank you for the info!
Soon after I had posted my question, I figured out how to screen-cast videos from my other devices to the TV, which helped greatly in not having to utilize the on-screen keyboard using the remote in order to find things (the latter approach being more like a high-tech version of typing with only one finger, lol).
Thanks again!
