We had FIOS installed two days ago this week.
Our installer claimed that our Series 2 TiVo box was not going to work with the FIOS cable box.
It only took me less than 2 minutes to figure out that the antenna connection to the TiVo box was not working as expected.
It took another two minutes to locate a video/audio cable set and hook it up between the FIOS cable box and the TiVo Series 2 box.
We then put the TiVo box in Live TV mode, and lo and behold we had a picture.

Anybody from Verizon care to respond?
Hello gemsFamily

I do not work for Verizon, but will comment.
It is good that you know more about Tivo hardware than the Verizon Techs. They can only be responsible for their hardware connection to your TV. Anything else would make them responsible for additional items that they should not be bothered with. I am glad you were able to get it working. I have a TiVO HD and all they would do is bring me a cable card and be sure it was activated.
