Despite having the Ultimate package,I cannot  access beIN1 or beIN2 . I am informed by Verizon that it's because my DVR is a TiVo and that there is a compatibility issue which doesn't allow these channels to be accessed though TiVo ( all other channels are fine) Anyone else having a similar problem ?

I don't have a TiVo, but I do have another CableCARD based device. I also have the Ultimate package, and I can get beIN1 on channel 598, with no issues. I only saw beIN2 in the Spanish tier, and I get "Subscription Required" for that channel. Looks like it was the same programming, though.
