blocking the ordering of movies

I have verizon at a rental property - movies are being rented and charged to my account but no renter wants to fess up and pay so I am stuck with bill - how can I block it ???

You could set a passcode , but obviously would need access their STB, remote and not have them see you type in the passcode.

Menu-->Settings-->System-->Parental/Purchase-->OK and follow the prompts to enable and enter a passcode.

Making a purchase pin will work, but you may want to have customer service drop your credit limit to .01 cent. This way the cable box isnt your only defense against renting movies. They will still have access to anything that is free.
