The NFL Network’s different camera angles may have been what the rep was referring to. But just as we were promised different viewing angles when we switched from VHS to DVD, the capability didn’t always translate to every day use. The providers have to set up all the extra cameras and editing.

Having said that, still for sporting events, as a provider, the NFL seems to be ready to deliver. According to the other post, maybe NBC is too.

You will need NFL Network Game Extra . Accessing NFL Network Game Extra allows this camera angle change feature through your Computer, which could also be viewed on your TV if you have one of the new flat screen TV’s that can also double as a computer monitor.
Please forgive the store’s mixing of the media! Many of the best Verizon employees must advise you without having the benefit of having tried these features in our own homes. FiOs is not yet available everywhere. This feature was probably demonstrated in your rep’s training on a TV connected to a PC, as they do get their brains opened up and everything poured in for a few days before discussing these things with the public.
