can I record programs using an antenna?

Hello! I am stuck with a contract so cannot cancel FIOS TV at the moment - but will when the contract is up - but in the meantime, I am looking into viewing ch 9 over the airwaves using an antenna. My question is, does anyone know if it is possible to record a program that is coming in to the house via antenna?

Yes. Amazon has the Fire TV Recast and there is also TiVo. TiVo used to have a subscription but doesn't anymore so that is an option. 

Search for "over the air" or OTA DVR to check different options. Best Buy has a model under $100.

There are a number of other devices.

Look for something like ATSC recorder.

I have seen them before.

One used a flash drive for the storage.

So you can record as much as you want by just swapping the flash drive.
