i spoke to a cx who advised he didn't have the ability to set the dvr to record after the set time a program had ended. he said he could set the dvr to start recording minutes before a show started but no way to set the recording to keep recording for minutes after the timeslot has ended.
The cx got it wrong. You can both start the recording before the scheduled start time, and end it after the scheduled end time. In fact you can extend the recording time while the program is being recorded.
1). Schedule the program to be record.
2). Click on DVR on ther remote
3). select view schedule
4). select the program you want to alter the start/stop time on, and hit OK
5). Select 'Modify Start and End time', and hit OK.
6). Adjust the start and end times as needed.
(I routinely record 60 Minutes, and routinely extend the record time 30 minutes because 60 minutes often starts late
due to the NFL football game)...
