I recently converted my (2 TV) residence from a standard fios DVR to quantum, including 2 of their new DVRs. I've more recently moved into another living arrangement, bringing one of the TVs with me. My new living arrangement uses Fios, but no DVR service.
My question is this: Can I bring the 2nd Quantum DVR with me, pay the Quantum upgrade and make this 2nd Quantum DVR work in the new place?
Or will I end up sending the 2nd box back to Verizon and have to do the upgrade route in the new residence?
I assume the old location will keep their service?
If so, I would say no because the DVR is associated with that account.
Only way you could do it would be to transfer the account from the old location to the new.
