fios remote - clear info bar

how do you clear the blue information bar from the TV screen after you change the channel.  It takes 7 second for it to clear and I don't want to have to hit the OK button to clear every time i change the channel. can you shorten the time the informaion bar stays on?

The Exit button on the remote will also clear the bar from the screen.

Verizon is aware of this issue. Right now there is no way to shorten the time the bar is displayed through any setting. Hopefully the next level of the IMG will provide some ability to do that.
