If an adjacent town has FiOS TV and if I receive my internet service from the CO in that town, should I not be able to get FiOS TV even though my town does not have FiOS TV?

each town has to have a franchise agreement, and also an agreement with the city to bring fios tv in, so verizon may already be involved in talks with the city counsel and mayors office.

In addition it requires Verizon to have run the fiber (either underground or on the pole) and installed the PON splitters to your area. Just having a FiOS enabled CO does not magically bring fiber to your neighborhood
