offensive R-rated ads played during On-Demand Search

I am a long-time Fios Bundle customer and I am Super-Angry.

What can I do to block violent ads which appear while I'm trying to do On-Demand Search?
The other day my 9 year old was looking for a kids film and the trailer playing while he was searching was for "Insidious, Cahpter 2."  He has had trouble sleeping and nightmares for a week.  He does not like scary movies and has no interest in looking these up. The only way I have figured out for avoiding these ads is to switch to a different channel, turning off the on-demand  search, which of course puts you right back wher you started when you go back to look for a movie again.
