premier vs. extreme hd

i'm not sure if i've been looking in the right places, but i'm finding it difficult to determine what the differences are between the premier package and the extreme hd package in northern new jersey.  also, the extreme hd package advertises the inclusion of many sports channels, but i'm hearing that if one wants these channels in northern new jersey, it is part of a seperate sports package, where it is included in other areas.  the fios website isn't very clear on the matter.

The Fios website is not very clear, as you said, when it comes to NY and northern NJ. Essentials does not exist in those two areas, only Extreme. The sports channels are $7.99 extra but included in Extreme everywhere else for some reason.
