you know, I never thought of that.  that is an excellent point.  i guess Verizon is not sensitive to a diverse community.  I'm sure their response would be something like, "That is what the broacaster is charging us and blah blah blah...."

Why do people pay extra for the gay channel (here!)? Why do they pay more for Playboy? Why do you pay more for HBO?

Because they are all PREMIUM channels - and yes - it is because that's what the provider is charging.
