tv mirroring of DVR recordings when at locations with large time shifts

A short time ago we upgraded tv to vios tv one. we have a vacation place used 3 to 4 months a year having 6 hour time difference compared to our home in the USA. Most of the news and shows have to be recorded. Before the upgrade we used the Slingplayer to stream the recorded tv programs. The tv one does not allow that. Is it posible for verizon to allow mirroring of the DVR recording from our iPad to larger tv set??

Why can't you use the sling player with FiOS One STB?

I believe a lot of mirroring options are blocked.

And if you are outside of the US, the app will not allow its use.
