very slow loading on "view recordings" page

Recently it is taking 15 to 30 minutes before my "view recordings" loads my list of record programs. I give up after 30 minutes. I have recorded 85% of my maximum allowed recordings. My fios with DVD function is less than a year old. What might be going on?
