I have had almost every service. I am new to FIOS. When I fast forward a DVRed TV show and then hit the play button it seems to jump ahead a few seconds. I then have to hit rewind or the back button. Most of my previous boxes there was a setting to adjust what happened when you hit the play button. Is there a adjustment/ I have looked and can not find one.
Second ? is when recording an episode there is no way to lengthen the record time such as for a sporting event. Is there an adjustment for this?
Thanks for your response

There is no way to change the fast fwd rwd thing. I don't see that issue on my end. What DVR are you using? Quantum or non Quantum?
You can change the length of time something is recorded.
There's a few ways to do it, but here's 2.
If it's a show you already have set to record in the future hit dvr, go to manage series recordings, find the show, click ok, click modify series, go down to the start and end times and you can change it to run up to 120 minutes longer.
If its a show that is currently recording or you hit the record button to start it, hit the record button again. select extend end time at the top of the menu that pops up.
