Why does my tablet seem to have a mind of it's own? I so much as touch the key pad and it starts typing all sorts ot letters and when I try o delete them. It types a whole bunch more letters. To make a long story short. It has taken me about 30 min. to type this note.

If the tablet is fully updated, and, a factory default doesn't resolve the problem, my guess would be that the tablet is defective.

Thanks so much for the input, dexman. I'd like to piggy back off of that and ask a couple of questions. When did this begin? Have you checked the memory left on the device (Apps/Settings/Storage)? What type of keyboard are  you using? You can check this by going to Apps/Settings/Language & Input.
