Why aren't my downloads saving to my gallery?

Downloaded movies are not going to my gallery so I'm not able to cast them on my TV? How do I get them into my gallery?

The Ellipsis 8 does not have a native file manager; one would need to be obtained in the Play Store, such as ES File Explorer File Manager - Android Apps on Google Play

Do you have  "My Files" folder under your apps?
