Why can I not upgrade my operation system?

When I attempt to get the latest OS, I get the error "Can not connect to Server".  I am not sure if there is an update out there, but sure would like to know for sure.

I can read that you are3 eager to enjoy all of the enhancements that a software update has to offer. We want to partner with you so we can get the update completed so you can enjoy the new features BrianDS. As tikibar1 stated, the device would need to be connected to our network for authentication. Have you tried the step that tikibar1 suggested? Thanks Tikibar1. If so then what were the results? If you can give us an update then we can continue to troubleshoot if necessary. We're eager to hear from you.

Do you have wi-fi turned off and mobile data turned on?  That's necessary to pull any updates.
