AOL Premium email

Since we were forced to move our email to AOL, Why were we not given Premium accounts on AOL, as since I am a paying Verizon customer already I feel we should be given regular AOL priviledges and features.  AOL lite email is almost worthless or very limited in usefulness.  For example emails are deleted after about 2 weeks, I can't set up folders etc.  I am very unhapppy, so now I have to make Hotmail my main account.
Also AOL Premium would be a valuable service/benefit and increase the overal value to Verizon customers with little or no cost to Verizon, and would actually or probably increase profits from advertising if AOL Premium use was made available to all Verizon customers.  I would probably make AOL my home page rather than MSN if you gave me Premium.
