AOL says my verizon email username not found - can't log in!

Suddenly cannot access my Verizon/AOL email.  The error message I get is username not found.  I try to send an email to my verizon address (migrated to AOL) and it is returned as invalid address.  HOWEVER, I am signed in on an app and can send emails from the Verizon/AOL email server.

This happened to me earlier in the week - but I couldn't even log in online. Only for a couple of our several emails. It resolved by itself. BTW when I tried to call in to AOL, the wait was more than an hour - I think this is happening to many.
