I was getting an error that said it could not recognize the server. After a week of frustration I decided to try to delete and set up my Verizon account again. I now get "incorrect user name and password" when trying to do the set up. I am able to pull in my email from my Yahoo account on the Galaxy. Please help. Losing my mind!
At least one other user reports that you now have to have @verizon.net after your userid.
All the other changes are also required (ssl, port numbers).
Tried that. Doesn't work. If I use the new ports 995 and 465 I get the "Incorrect user name and password" error. If I use the old ports 110 and 25 I get "unable to connect to email server to verify account information. No response from server."
